Housing discrimination is at the root of many of our civil rights issues, as it is related to, and frequently the cause of, other forms of disadvantage. It limits job opportunities, increases segregation in schools, and fosters concentrations of socio economically disadvantaged persons. If we can effectively battle housing discrimination, we can strike at the heart of other fundamental problems.
